Quality Management System Auditing

Supply Chain Quality Audits
Never before has supply chain quality been a critical factor in procuring materials and products from around the world. Production line-down situations due to poor quality from suppliers can cripple a manufacturer. PQS will work with you to mitigate this risk by evaluating your supply chain, establishing an audit plan for suppliers and conducting audits (onsite or remote) with your most critical suppliers. With experience in Asia, Europe and North America, we will provide your organization with the necessary expertise to ensure a consistent quality supply chain pipeline.
Problem-Solving and Corrective Action (5 Whys, 8 Disciplines, etc.)
Manufacturing problems will occur and the need to quickly contain issues, identify their root cause and implement corrective action is of the utmost importance in order to minimize manufacturing disruptions and ensure customer satisfaction. We provide the necessary resources to train your staff, implement CAPA processes utilizing tools such as “5 WHYs”, as well as solve real manufacturing issues that are affecting your business.
ISO Gap Analysis
In order to ensure the effective implementation of a quality management system, a “gap” analysis is recommended to identify those areas that need to be addressed prior to certification by a 3rd party registrar. PQS’s gap analysis process will provide you with the necessary information that will result in a smooth certification process.
Process Auditing
At the core of world-class manufacturing is a robust process audit schedule that focuses on key/critical processes to ensure consistency and to minimize variation. PQS provides the necessary tools for you to implement layered process audits (LPAs), as well as quality management system process audits to ensure an effective system. Process audits can be performed either onsite or remotely, depending on your needs.
Product Audits
Product audits are necessary to ensure that outgoing quality is at the level expected by your customers. PQS provides the resources to perform product audits at either your facility or at your supplier’s facility. PQS’s expertise encompasses a wide range of industries and includes products such as electro-mechanical enclosures, box-build assemblies and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA). To be effective, a product audit normally occurs on site and can either be at in-process, final inspection and/or prior to shipment to the customer.
